How article pages on this site are set
A layout sample. The text describes the template itself, so nothing here is invented content.
Reading comfort
Body text is set in Newsreader at about twenty pixels, with a line length near sixty-six characters. Nothing in the body moves while you read it.
Headings use the same condensed Archivo as the rest of the site, so an article still belongs to it.
Figures
Diagrams are inline SVG, so their labels stay real text that search engines and screen readers can read. A figure draws itself once when it first comes into view, then stays still.
Notes
Footnotes sit in the margin on wide screens and open in place on phones.
On wide screens the note beside the text highlights when you choose its number.
Motion
The only motion is at the edges: the progress line under the header, the section marker on the left, and figures drawing once. Long text stays calm.
