Public purpose
News about an event rarely says what it will touch. A port closure, a policy change or an earthquake reaches a region first, then the infrastructure and industries that depend on it, and only later individual companies. AST studies that path.
Broad areas
Evidence that something happened. Relationships between places, sectors and companies. The mechanisms by which an effect could travel. And transmission itself, including second-order effects that arrive through a dependency rather than directly.

It is not investment advice, a buy or sell system, or a price predictor.
